Teddy created the TikTok account @got2gonyc to share accessible NYC bathrooms in July 2021. Since then, she has reached millions with her videos and has built a community of hundreds of thousands of followers across social media platforms TikTok, Instagram , YouTube, Twitter and Threads. Her social media activism has been featured in The New York Times, CNN, Teen Vogue, TimeOut and more.
She has learned from her followers that the lack of accessible and sanitary bathrooms in NYC is not only a public health issue, but an equity crisis. Teddy uses her platform to advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion through documenting hardships faced by fellow New Yorkers & tourists due to the lack of NYC bathrooms.
Teddy frequently works with Manhattan Borough President Mark Levine and members of City Council. Her advocacy and support played an integral role in the passing of Intro 258 ('The Bathroom Bill'). She is currently helping MBP Levine with the campaign for the two additional 'Bathroom Bills' that were introduced in Spring 2023.

In addition to solving NYC's restroom crisis, Teddy is also dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding bathroom usage & access. She hosted her first Got2Go event this past summer at Society of Illustrators. 'Salon in the John' was a sketch night where NYC based artists as well as members of the Got2GoNYC community came together to sketch clothed models posing on a toilet. The event was sold out and a huge success! Stay tuned for more fun 'bathroom themed events’ that Teddy will be bringing to NYC in the coming year.
